8/18/10 - Alright something must be in the air at the ranch! A lot of love being expressed with a lifetime commitment. We now have had our third marriage proposal at the ranch. It is no longer coincidence.....it is now a trend. Ben Petro, from Plainfield, IL had conjured up a plan with Paul to also propose to his future wife, Lisa Natywa from Mazon, IL while she and Ben gazed a the beauty of nature in the woods on horseback at Cedar Creek Ranch...........and, once again, the answer was Yes! Congratulations to Lisa & Ben. Below are some pictures and a video.
8/10/10 - Ok....we had our first marriage proposal on 6/20/10. Now our second just under two months later? Is this a coincedence or a trend? Only time will tell. Jon Crost, from Chicago, IL had contacted Paul to propose to his future wife, Lisa Kluk also from Chicago, IL while she and Jon enjoyed a great horseback ride at Cedar Creek Ranch...........and the answer was Yes! 6/20/10 - Well, it is never dull at the ranch. We had our first ever, surprise marriage proposal request. The continuous rainfall over the past several weeks has forced us to cancel many reservations due to floods on the trails and around the creek. But Paul is a "softy" when it comes to love. He made special arrangements today to accommodate a customer's request. Chris Rainey, from Flanagan, IL had talked to Paul during the week and made a visit to the ranch yesterday for the final arrangements. His plan was to propose to his future wife, Tamara Gibbs also from Flanagan, IL while she and her children enjoyed the scenic trails of Cedar Creek Ranch. With a little help of some sunshine and the friends & family of Paul, we had a success............and the answer was Yes! Congratulations to Tamara & Chris along with the family of Tamara including Johanna, Peyton & John Ruff. Below are some pictures and a video. So what's next at the ranch......a wedding?
